How It Works

A Simple, Transparent Process

No long contracts, no confusing packages — just clear, one-to-one guidance whenever you need it.

1

Book Online

Complete our short form telling us about your research, subject, and preferred time.

2

Get Matched

We pair you with a consultant experienced in your subject area and dissertation stage.

3

Attend Your Session

Meet via video call, phone, or written consultation — usually within one working day of booking.

4

Apply & Progress

Leave with a clear plan and practical tools to move forward independently, with follow-up support if needed.

Before Your First Session

You don't need a polished draft or a fully formed plan before booking — many students come to their first session with little more than a general sense of where they're stuck. That's genuinely fine. If you do have existing material (a draft, supervisor feedback, or specific questions), sharing it in advance helps your consultant prepare, but it's never required.

During a Session

Sessions are conversational and focused on your specific situation, not a generic script. Your consultant will ask questions, explain concepts clearly, and work through your material with you — the goal is always that you leave understanding not just what to do next, but why.

After a Session

You'll receive a short written summary covering what was discussed and any recommended next steps. From there, it's entirely up to you whether you book a follow-up session, move on to a different service, or simply apply what you've learned independently.

One Session or Ongoing Support

Some students need a single session to resolve a specific issue. Others prefer ongoing structure across their whole timeline — see our Dissertation Coaching service if that sounds like a better fit. Either way, there's no obligation beyond your first, free consultation.
